Turfgrass soils vary considerably in both physical and chemical composition. Regardless of their properties most contain a vast array of living organisms, and all of these organisms affect turfgrass health in crucial ways. The least understood of these organisms are usually the bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes. Factors such as soil pH, fertility, organic matter, moisture, temperature, soil porosity, and turfgrass species are all very important. As a result, anything that alters these factors also affects microbial activities. Imbalanced microbial populations result in reduced plant health and vigor. PureAg products insure microbial populations are balanced through reestablishing healthy micro-organisms in the soil. In turn, turf health improves, plant stress is reduced and pest tolerance increases.
